Overview
Breakfast then drive with packed lunch to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive, the park is found in Monduli district so it is not far from your place of accommodation.
It is administered by the Tanzania National Parks Authority and covers an area of 325km2 including about 230km2 lake surface. As it is an alkaline soda lake, it attracts plenty of water birds like flamingoes and pelicans. Lake Manyara National Park is the most famous Park for the presence of tree climbing lions. Large herds of giraffes, gazelle and buffalos can be found in the grassy lake shores. More than 350 bird species have been recorded on the lake as well as animals like elephants, monkeys, wildebeests and baboons.
